Usability
A usability evaluation measures or quantifies the interaction between the user and computer. It really means “making sure that something works well”.
Measurable
Numerical data is gathered about the user’s experience with the product. The use of surveys, analytics or testing measure features for analysis.
Numbers sometimes can be more persuasive when a change is needed.
Observational
Insight is gathered by observing the use of the product. The strengths and weaknesses of the design are identified.
Findings can determine the big issues, fix them and then test the new version.
